ABOUT THE SITE
Small tools.
A clear purpose.
SVGtopix is an independent collection of browser-based image converters, operated by Leon Warren.
What you can do here
Convert SVG artwork into PNG or JPG, trace simple PNG and JPG artwork into SVG paths, or export supported SVG shapes as vector PDF. Each converter has one job, with settings, a preview and a download on the same page. There are no accounts, saved histories or batch queues.
All conversion runs in your browser. The tools do not upload your selected image or generated result to a conversion server. The privacy policy explains hosting requests and planned advertising separately.
Choose the right conversion
- SVG to PNG rasterizes artwork into lossless pixels and can retain transparency.
- SVG to JPG produces a lossy JPEG with a white or custom background.
- PNG to SVG and JPG to SVG trace colored regions into paths. They work best with logos, icons and simple line art; tracing does not recover the original source vectors from a photograph.
- SVG to PDF writes supported paths, fills and strokes into a PDF, at original size or fitted to A4. Unsupported raster content is rejected.
What to expect
The page for each tool lists its supported inputs and limits. SVG features, local fonts, source compression and tracing settings can affect the result. Inspect your download before using it for production or print. If a conversion fails, the tool displays an error rather than a substitute file.
The site uses the browser's Canvas renderer for raster output, ImageTracer for bitmap tracing, and jsPDF with svg2pdf.js for vector PDF output. These tools serve different purposes; a raster preview alone does not prove that a file is vector.
