SVG TO PNG · FIELD NOTES
Image conversion guides.
Direct answers, small test files and reproducible checks for SVG to PNG. Each guide tackles a specific export problem. Start with the converter when you already know your settings; use a guide when you need to understand an unexpected result.
Backgrounds and transparency
Why does SVG to PNG have a white background? Compare four controlled exports, inspect actual alpha values and download the source SVGs.
How our guides are tested
We create source artwork, run it through the actual converter, and inspect the output rather than relying on a preview alone. Each experiment states its settings, samples and limitations. Measurements describe that run; they do not promise the same file size in every browser.
For conversion without troubleshooting, open SVG to PNG. For supported vector printing artwork, use SVG to PDF. The contact page explains what to include in a reproducible bug report.
